This competition binding features the revolutionary X-Cell Piston vibration damper - capable of selectively dampening vibrations, allowing the binding to stiffen during strong, short impulses that could cause the boot to release unnecessarily. At impulses that could cause injury, the binding retains its normal stiffness, "releasing" the boot before the injury occurs.

This feature allows you to set the release force according to the current release rules. You no longer need to take the risk of setting the binding to too high a release force, which would prevent uncontrolled release, but does not protect you from injury.

The XCOMP binding is characterised by a very large contact surface to the ski and an unbelievable ability to dampen vibrations when riding fast on hard concrete slopes. The lever at the rear of the binding is not only used to release the boot, but also to make it easier to step into the binding at higher release force settings. All in all, the Xcell gives more precise control, more comfortable boot entry/exit and, above all, more safety.
